Change Your Narrative
Program
I created this program after analysing and comparing the stories of the participants of my masters thesis “How Women Escape the Self-Imposed Controls of Marriage" with the stories of the hundreds of women and young women I had worked with to date.
I built a framework to give people the tools and confidence to define themselves as individuals with strength, worth and value.
7 Week Program
- Each session will take 60 - 75 minutes. You’ll cover the material in the modules and share and discuss ONLY what you want to.
- Sessions will be delivered via Zoom.
- You don’t have to share anything you don’t want to. Best outcomes are achieved by completing any suggested work. If you don't wish to do this, that is your choice. It’s about your development and increasing your knowledge.
- Sessions are delivered on a one-to-one basis. Provision can be made for small group instruction, please contact me using the Connect page
- Payment is made in advance. For maximum benefit it is recommended that programs are completed within 4 months of start date.
- Outcomes will depend on your engagement and commitment.

Who are these programs for?
Define Yourself!
Program
Define Yourself! is for anyone 18+ who has experienced DVA and/or Trauma so they can find themselves.
BeyondTrauma Recovery
Program
The BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme is for everyone who has encountered any type of trauma from being in, or witnessing, an accident to experiencing the loss of a loved one and feeling lost and overwhelmed in the process. It MUST be followed from Session 1 to Session 7.
It looks at the clusters we use to manage our emotions and provides coping skills to manage feelings of panic, anxiety and alarm. There are exercises for you to do at the end of each session. I encourage you to do them in your time.
The aim is for you to know you're not going crazy. Your body is trying to tell you what's happening. You're going to learn how to listen to your body and identify what is happening.
Change Your Narrative
Program
This course is for anyone who has experienced domestic violence and abuse, wants to break the cycle of abuse and wants to learn how to make their children’s lives better.
For Muslims, I open up Pandoras box by looking at ‘Sabr and Dhulm’ (Patience and Injustice) and ‘Sharm and Izzat’ (Shame and Honour) in the context of Islam. I’ve focussed on Muslim women but this course will address the needs of all women and young people.
The aim is to change the thinking from ‘no one understands’ to “no one needs to understand, because I do and I’m important, I matter”.
Freedom
Program
The Freedom Program (FP)is for women who have experienced DVA. Created for women who want to move forward with their lives. Women get to share their experiences and learn from others. They find out they aren't alone.
The FP assists you in making decisions through validation and confirmation of your experiences.
The FP does NOT give advice or offer counselling. We offer support throughout the program as we understand the distressing nature of the process.
